These diversity and inclusion read aloud activities for the book All Are Welcome will help your K-2 students understand the importance of including others and identify practical ways to help others feel welcomed and appreciated.
This resource is based on the book "All Are Welcome" by Alexandra Penfold, however you do not need the book to complete the activities. This is also a great idea for distance learning, as there is a Google Slides component!

What's Included:
"Is It Welcoming?" Cut And Paste - Students will look at 18 actions and determine whether or not they are a way to help others feel welcomed and included.
"Including Others" Booklet - This 6-page booklet includes prompts that will encourage students to think about why inclusion is important and how they can help others feel welcomed and included. Comes in color and b&w.
12 Task Cards - These 12 task cards will encourage students to think about why it is important to include others and how they can make their class or school a more welcoming place.
3 Posters - These posters can be displayed in your classroom or office to encourage students to be welcoming and inclusive. The black and white versions can also be used as coloring pages!
All materials are also available in a Google Slides version
