Bullying Prevention Read Aloud Activities - Bully BEANS
Use these bullying prevention read aloud activities with the book Bully BEANS to help kids learn about how they can stand up to bullying. Students will consider how they can stand up for themselves and others and why standing up to bullying is important! These activities go perfectly with the book Bully B.E.A.N.S. by Julia Cook, however they can also be used without the book!
This resource includes a Google Slides component, which makes it great for distance learning or social distancing.

What's Included:
Cut And Paste Activity - Students will respond to 6 prompts related to bullying, and then will cut out their answers and paste them into their jar of "bully beans."
"Standing Up To Bullying" Booklet - Students will create this four page booklet and learn what bullying is, why it's important to stand up for themselves and others, and how they can do that!
Bully Beans Worksheet - In each jelly bean in the jar, students will write one thing they can say or do to stand up to bullies!
"Standing Up To Bullying" Task Cards - Includes 12 task cards to help students discuss standing up to bullying. There are also sample answers for each task card, as well as an answer recording sheet.
Bullying Prevention Pledge Card - This card encourages students to commit to standing up against bullying and write one way that they will do that. These are great to hang in a classroom or hallway display!
All materials come in color and black & white!
All materials are also included in a Google Slides version.
