Anger Management Read Aloud Activities - Crankenstein
These low prep, engaging anger management read aloud activities will help your students learn about anger warning signs, anger triggers, and positive coping skills. These activities are designed to go with the book Crankenstein by Samantha Berger, but you do not need the book to do the activities.
All activities are also included in a Google Slides format, which makes this a great resource for distance learning or social distancing!

What's Included:
Coping Skills Wheel Activity: Students will look at a wheel of coping skills, and determine which coping skill would work best for them in various scenarios. The coping skill wheel is a great visual that can be sent home with the students as a visual reminder of important anger management strategies.
"Feeling Cranky" Foldable Page: This foldable page will help students consider their anger warning signs, anger triggers, and positive coping skills they can use when they feel upset.
"When I Feel Cranky" Coloring Worksheet: On this worksheet, students will identify 6 coping skills they can use when they feel cranky. They can then color the worksheets and they can be used in a classroom or hallway display!
"Managing My Crankiness" Task Cards: Includes 12 task cards to help students discuss anger management strategies. There are also sample answers for each task card, as well as an answer recording sheet.
All materials come in color and black and white.
All materials are also included in a Google Slides format.
