Worry And Anxiety Read Aloud Activities - The Huge Bag Of Worries
Are you looking for easy to use activities to help talk with your students about worry and anxiety? These read aloud activities for the book The Huge Bag Of Worries are sure to engage your students as they identify their worries and learn positive coping skills. This resource is based on the book "The Huge Bag Of Worries" by Virginia Ironside, however you do not need the book to complete the activities. This is also a great idea for distance learning, as there is a Google Slides component!

"My Bag Of Worries" Worry Cards - Students will write down their worries on the cards provided and place them in an envelope that represents their "bag of worries." They will then share their worries with a trusted adult.
Worry Coping Skills Sort - Students will look at 16 coping skills and decide whether they are positive or negative ways to cope with their anxiety.
"My Bag Of Worries" Interactive Worksheet - Students will write down their worries and then cover them up with positive coping skills.
Worry/Anxiety Task Cards - Use these 12 task cards to promote discussion regarding worry and anxiety. Sample answers are provided, as well as an answer recording sheet.
